The Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce encourages you to shop local and support our community’s small businesses year-round. This year, there’s even more reason to celebrate Sewickley—our community was named #1 on USA Today’s 10 Best list of Small Towns in the Northeast for 2026!

Our local businesses are at the heart of what makes Sewickley such a special place to live, work, visit, and explore. From locally owned shops and restaurants to professional services and unique experiences, these businesses contribute to the vibrancy and character of our community every day.

When you shop local, you’re doing more than making a purchase. You’re supporting your neighbors, helping local businesses grow, strengthening our local economy, and investing in the future of Sewickley.

This season, and all year long, we invite you to explore, discover, and support the businesses that make Sewickley one of the best small towns in the country.

Explore the Sewickley village during the most wonderful time of the year! From November 27, 2026 through January 16, 2027, collect memorable experiences throughout the village and enter for your chance to win one (1) $250, one (1) $100 or one (1) $50 gift card to the participating business of your choice!

How to play

  • Pick up your Holiday Village Passport available at any participating business or download online and start exploring Sewickley! 
  • Complete the passport activities on your card from Nov. 27, 2026 through Jan. 16, 2027.
  • Visit participating businesses. Each participating business will have a special Holiday Village Passport dot that will be used to verify completed activities. 
  • Complete a Bingo line by completing five squares in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Turn in your completed passport to be entered for a  chance to win!

Turning in your passport

  • Completed passports must be turned in by 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2027 in the branded ballot box.
  • Drop off your completed passport at the Sewickley Public Library during regular library hours.
  • Please make sure your name, email address, and phone number are clearly written on your passport before turning it in.

Winner selection

  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  • Winners will be announced on the Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce social media channels and contacted directly by email and/or phone.

Free Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides Sponsored by FNB 
Sundays, December 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 12-4pm. Departing from Wolcott Park


To celebrate the holidays and make the season brighter, businesses in the Sewickley Village are creating special holiday displays in their storefront windows!

As you are doing your holiday shopping, check out all the participating locations and their holiday displays and vote for their favorite! Winners will be announced on social media.

Participants must be a brick-and-mortar business located within the Sewickley Business District. Windows must be decorated for Light Up Night on December 4th.

Best of Show Award:

The Mayor of Sewickley, Chief of Fire Department, and Chief of Police will visit all window displays and cast their votes for Best of Show. A donation of $250 will go to a nonprofit of the winner of Best of Show’s choosing.

People’s Choice Award:

Visitors have from December 4th, Light up Night, until December 13th to vote for their favorite window display. To vote, view our poster at each window display and use the QR code. Only one vote per person permitted.
