The Quaker Valley Rotary started its Scholarship Fund in 1990 to recognize twelfth-grade students for improving their academic skills over their freshman year. Since then, approximately 42 students have benefited from this program with college scholarships exceeding $62,000. 

In conjunction with this program, we started our Student of the Month Award in 1998 for freshman students. Since then, 169 students have earned this award and have received $25,000 in United States Savings Bonds or cash. 

The Quaker Valley Rotary firmly believes in supporting the young people in our community, and in 2006, did attain a 501c3 tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service. In 2018 we changed our name to Quaker Valley Rotary Foundation. We can now expand the mission of our foundation to other charitable endeavors.
