The Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to manage planning, logistics, marketing, and on-site execution of two major 2026 community events: the Sewickley Night Mart and the Wine Walk.
2. Scope of Work
A. Event Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage a full project plan and timeline for both events.
- Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, participating businesses, performers, and volunteers.
- Secure all necessary permits, insurance, and municipal approvals.
- Manage vendor and participant communications.
B. On-Site Event Management
- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and operations.
- Ensure smooth flow of foot traffic and vendor placement.
- Troubleshoot issues and manage real-time needs.
C. Vendor & Merchant Relations
- Recruit and manage vendors.
- Communicate expectations, rules, and logistics.
D. Marketing & Promotion
- Coordinate with Chamber team on promotional strategies.
- Support social media and event communications.
E. Financial Management
- Work within set budgets.
- Track expenses and provide summaries.
F. Post-Event Deliverables
- Provide final report including attendance, financials, feedback, and recommendations.
3. Required Qualifications
- Experience planning multi-vendor community events.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Budget and timeline management experience.
- On-site event management required.
- Familiarity with Sewickley or similar communities preferred.
