Sewickley, PA – The Sewickley Community Center Pool has opened for the summer, marking its 28th season as a community fixture and coinciding with the Center’s 91st year serving the Sewickley Valley.

The pool, which first opened in the late 1990s, has become a regular summertime gathering place for residents and visitors alike. Beyond recreation, it has long served as a safe, welcoming space for individuals and families of all backgrounds-that focus continues this year, with an emphasis on accessibility and affordability. Daily passes and seasonal memberships are available, offering flexible options for both regular visitors and newcomers. The facility also includes a pool lift to accommodate guests with mobility challenges.

“We are proud to celebrate 28 years of serving our community,” said Robert Patterson Jr., president of the Board of Directors. “Our pool has always been about more than swimming— it’s a place where families gather, friendships are built, and summer memories are made. We want everyone to know that they are welcome here.”

In addition to open swimming, the pool is available for rentals, including birthday parties, group outings, team events, and private gatherings. The pool is open seven days a week from 12:30 to 6 p.m., weather permitting. Updates are posted on social media at @sewickleycommunitycenter.

Day passes and memberships are available. The pool is open to individuals and families from the Sewickley Valley, Moon Township, and surrounding communities.
