Sewickley Public Library Invites Community Input to Shape the Future

Help shape the future of the Sewickley Public Library

The Sewickley Public Library is calling on community members to help shape the future of their local library by participating in a brief but impactful Community Survey. The survey, part of the library’s strategic planning process, invites residents of all ages and backgrounds to share their ideas, priorities, and hopes for the library’s future.

“Everything we do is for the community,” said Ruth Neely, Executive Director of the Sewickley Public Library. “And the best way to plan for the future is to listen closely to the people we serve every day.”

The survey is open now and takes just a few minutes to complete. Responses will help guide decisions about programs, services, spaces, and long-term goals over the next several years.

Whether you're a daily visitor, a digital borrower, or someone who hasn't visited in a while, the library wants to hear from you. Survey topics include what resources matter most, what gaps need attention, and how the library can continue to support lifelong learning, creativity, and connection across the community.

Deadline to Respond:  May 12, 2025

Participation is open to all, and feedback will directly influence the library’s strategic direction. “Your voice can help us build a stronger, more inclusive library for everyone,” Neely added.
