The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center is partnering with Penguin Bookshop on a live discussion and Q&A with local author Marie Benedict about her new novel, “Daughter of Egypt,” on Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m. Benedict is a Sewickley resident and New York Time best-selling author of historical fiction novels such as The Queens of Crime, The Mitford Affair and Her Hidden Genius. Daughter of Egypt follows a young woman who unearths the truth about a forgotten female Pharaoh. Benedict will discuss her new novel at The Lindsay and participate in an audience Q&A. This is a ticketed event, and advance registration is required. The price of admission includes a signed copy of the book, which will be available for pickup during check-in for this event.
