The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center is showing Sanibel as part of the Sewickley nonprofit’s Third Annual Documentary Series.
Sanibel started off as a film about shelling culture in Southwest Florida, but quickly turned into an exercise in capturing a grieving community’s efforts to heal and rebuild following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Ian.
Director Jamie Winterstern will participate in a virtual Q&A following the 5 p.m. Sanibel screening on Monday, Sept. 1. Tickets to that and all Sanibel showings can be purchased at The Lindsay or via the Theater's website for $11.
$11/Tickets are available at The Lindsay or online via https://thelindsaytheater.org/films/sanibel/.
