Sewickley Valley Historical Society presents: ‘The American Revolution’

The Lindsay Theater and Sewickley Valley Historical Society are partnering to show episode one of Ken Burns' The American Revolution docuseries on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. The American Revolution examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q&A with Dr. Holly Mayer, a professor emirita of history at Duquesne University and author of multiple books about colonial America. This is the first of three collaborations in 2026 between The Lindsay and Sewickley Valley Historical Society in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday. Tickets to this event are available via The Lindsay’s website for $8.75 each.
