Description

The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center is showing Single-Use Planet as part of the Sewickley nonprofit’s Third Annual Documentary Series. In Single-Use Planet, director Steve Cowan attempts to uncover the political and economic factors that have resulted in plastic becoming a major aquatic pollutant. Phoebe Shackeroff Reese, director of programs for the Pittsburgh-based Breathe Project, will be on hand for an in-person Q&A following the 3:15 p.m. Single-Use Planet screening on Saturday, Aug. 30. Tickets to that and all Single-Use Planet showings can be purchased at The Lindsay or via the Theater's website for $11.
