The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley has partnered with WQED to show the one-hour documentary "Steel Links" on Monday, June 9, at 7 p.m. The film weaves together the rich history of Oakmont Country Club and its profound connections to the industrial city where steel fueled America’s ascent to power. "Steel Links" is hosted by Neil Walker and features segments with Bill Cowher, Charlie Batch, Wiz Khalifa, Rocco Mediate, Carol Semple Thompson and other local luminaries. Tickets are $11 for this golf-centric film screening only a few days before Oakmont hosts its 10th U.S. Open.
