The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley is hosting a public screening of the Strange Angels TV pilot on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. Strange Angels is a screen adaptation of Lawrenceville native Ernest Keegan’s 2018 novel. It follows a gym owner's efforts to navigate a fictional version of Pittsburgh's boxing community. Brookline’s Jameson Quinn directed this 39-minute project that will hopefully serve as the premiere episode for a full TV season. Quinn will be on hand for an in-person Q&A directly following the screening. Tickets are free, but RSVPs are recommended in advance due to space limitations.
