Join SVHS at its 3rd annual Winter Tea, sponsored by Mark Rengers Gallery, when we welcome speaker Jessica Young, and her presentation “What to Wear to the Revolution.” This special event will explore the political landscape of the late 1700s – the American Revolution – and how it was reflected in fashion and lifestyle of the time. A Q&A will follow the presentation, and attendees will be able to see of her reproduction clothing on site, as well as images via PowerPoint.
This program will be the perfect way to welcome the year of America250 as tea attendees are introduced to the material culture of the era of the American Revolution!
